At Edquip you can find both hardware and software products, designed for teaching future technicians and engineers.

To find suitable products you can use the search function, or browse different product categories, such as Mechatronics, Automotive Maintenance, Renewable Energy etc.

Use the comparison function for a side-by-side comparison of up to four separate hardware or software products, in order to explore different important parameters.

You can request quotations straight from the product Vendors (equipment manufacturers or software developers), which will be prepared for you in a comparable format.

 

1.      Approved Vendors

Vendors who list their products on Edquip are verified through a rigorous vetting process which includes face to face meetings', and Vendor applications.

All Vendors are the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) or Software Development Companies of the products sold on Edquip.

Operational metrics are monitored to analyze activities, identify problems and improve the user experience for all users.

Customer submitted product ratings are displayed on each product, and the average of all products is displayed on the Vendor profile.

Vendors who meet a certain combination of operational metrics and customer ratings receive a SuperVendor badge to highlight their good work.

 

2.       Guaranteed Price

Vendors guarantee that you will not find their products cheaper elsewhere. Should this happen the Vendor guarantee a price-match.

All quotations from Vendors are prepared so that the (a) Product cost, (b) Shipping cost, and (c) Installation, Commissioning and Training (ICT) costs, are comparable between quotations.

If requested by customer, quotations through Edquip can be valid for a specific period of 30, 60, or 90 days.

 

3.       Helpful Tools

In the Customer Portal you can compare different quotations received from Vendors in a standardized format, as well as download pdf versions of any quotations.

When you have become a verified Customer, you can chat with Vendors to enquire about the products to reach the desired product configuration and offering.

You can also invite and collaborate with colleagues from different departments (i.e. purchasing or finance) to get buy-in on your product choice.

Further, you can initiate an order, and manage each important step, including document sharing, Vendor communications and procurement milestones.

 

4.       Clear Process

Milestones are set for orders, to manage each step, to define responsibilities, to manage notifications, to clarify status, and much more, for all parties involved.

5.       Safe Transaction

Edquip has partnered with a government licensed payment service provider which offers Escrow services so that you can safely transact with any Vendors.

Your funds will be paid out in different instances, when the Vendor has met certain Milestones such as getting your product manufactured, delivered, and installed at your premises.

 

6.       Third Party Support

We have developed an extensive database of common questions and answers, to help with each and every step in the process.
