This equipment compactly replicates the operation of an industrial process control plant. It is composed of a support structure where the different components will be located.
The main fluid will be composed of a liquid with colorant, forming a closed circuit. The fluid will circulate through a circuit of pipes driven by pumps that will house the liquid in mini-tanks located at different heights.
Using the PLC, an experimentation sequence based on a certain production process can be programmed. The equipment enables the automatic and integrated control of different variables such as level, flow, temperature and pressure.
The system allows training, making and analyzing different configurations in a safe work environment. It enables theoretical and practical learning of the fundamental concepts about the programming and operation process of a programmable logic controller (PLC), through the software with interface, TIA Portal, which enables dynamic communication with a PC.
It allows the simulation of inputs and the connection of power to external devices. They enable the assembly of multiple circuits with different protection, actuation and automation elements for various applications.
