The Automotive Actuators Unit, “AV-A”, is a hands-on training solution designed to teach the operation and functionality of automotive actuators commonly found in modern vehicles.

The “AV-A” unit includes real-world automotive components and actuators that allow students to carry out practical exercises aimed at understanding the principles of automotive actuator technology and control systems.

This unit covers essential actuator applications, including engine ignition systems, DC electrical systems, motor-driven components, solenoids, and electromagnetic devices used in today’s cars.

Each actuator circuit in the unit is electrically isolated to allow students to study each function independently. All actuator circuits include clearly marked 2 mm lab socket connectors for easy and safe signal access during experiments.

The “AV-A” unit can function independently, but it also offers the possibility of integration with the “AV-ECD” Automotive Electronic Control Device Unit, enabling control via an actual automotive ECU.

The system supports a wide range of signal types, including analog, digital, PWM (Pulse Width Modulation), and CAN bus communication, providing students with real-world experience in automotive signal processing and actuator control.
