Wind Energy Power Plant (PWP-WE)
PL-204766
The "PWP-WE" Wind Power Plants by EDIBON is designed for studying wind power plants within microgrids. This application includes an induction turbine-generator group that supplies energy to the microgrid, allowing for smart energy distribution controlled by the operator.
Equipped with a network analyzer, the PWP-WE measures real-time energy production from the wind power plant. Control over the turbine-generator group is provided by a digital multifunction controller (AVR and ASC), enabling precise regulation of electrical and mechanical parameters. Key controls include setting the active power set point, allowing users to adjust how much power is injected into the microgrid automatically.
The multifunction controller is essential in managing power distribution among different energy sources within the microgrid, offering users an in-depth understanding of wind power generation and integration.
