Overview
The Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR) Training Cell by Hytech Automation is an advanced Industry 4.0 training platform designed to demonstrate intelligent intralogistics, autonomous material handling, and smart factory automation. The system replicates real-world manufacturing workflows by integrating an industrial Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR), centralized control, PLC-HMI automation, industrial communication, and smart navigation technologies into a single modular learning platform.
Built around an industrial AMR platform such as the KUKA KMP 400i, the training cell enables learners to understand autonomous transportation, dynamic routing, fleet management, and flexible manufacturing without fixed tracks. The system combines SLAM-based navigation, QR-code positioning, obstacle detection, and intelligent path planning to demonstrate safe and efficient industrial material movement.
The training cell integrates a Central Control Unit (CCU), industrial PLC, HMI, feeder and consumer conveyors, movable conveyor modules, pallet and bin storage systems, and industrial communication protocols including PROFINET and Modbus TCP. This allows users to develop complete automation applications while gaining practical exposure to centralized supervisory control and Industry 4.0 concepts.
The modular architecture supports multiple material transfer methods including direct AMR transport, pickable conveyor modules, conveyor synchronization, and flexible production layouts.
