Laboratory stand is designed for laboratory courses in subjects studying car and tractor hydraulic drives at secondary educational institutions and universities. 

 

Front axle of tractor with hubs and controllable wheels, integrated hydraulic booster and drive with steering wheel are mounted on the special framework, which is installed on the floor foundation with screw-in bearings. Steering control of tractor MTZ-80 is completely performed on the stand. By agreement with customer any types of integrated hydraulic boosters designed for tractors MTZ (with dosing pump, without dosing pump) may be installed on the stand. Pump station performed as a separate module and consisting of electric motor and gear pump is used for hydraulic booster feeding. 

 

In order to reproduce real operating modes of steering control, a special simulator of resistance of controllable wheels to turning is installed on the stand. The simulator provides stepless varying of steering control loads (when turning to the right and to the left) in wide range. 

 

In order to provide the possibility to carry out investigations of characteristics of steering control with hydraulic booster under “bad” operating conditions, hydraulic booster malfunction simulator is installed on the stand. 

 

Information-measuring system of the stand, which consists of electronic pressure sensors with digital indication of measurement results and autocontrolled electronic stop-watch, allows to get information needed for determination of steering control load characteristics. 

 

Stand controlling and displaying of measurement results is realized with special console installed on the stand’s frame. Elementary hydraulic diagram is performed on the panel of the console. 

 

Verification of parameters and characteristics of steering control with hydraulic booster, which are regulated by the corresponding standards (hydraulic and mechanical backlash, steering wheel force, reduction ratio, driver efficiency etc.) is possible. Carrying out of laboratory works dealing with verification and control of steering wheel installation angles is possible as well. 

 

Information-measuring system is PC-adapted. 

 

Software and methodical documentation supplemented to the stand: methodical and technical documentation set intended for academic staff.
